This training equips individuals with the necessary knowledge and skills to identify existing and predictable hazards in excavations, trenching, and shoring operations. The training ensures that participants can take prompt corrective measures to prevent accidents and comply with applicable regulations. We will cover everything from the OSHA definition of a competent person to hands on setting up a shoring box. We will simulate a situation where a rescue is needed of a person that has collapsed in a confined space. MPUA's confined space training trailer will be utilized. This training is in-person only and will be held at Rolla Utilities, 811 Highway O, Rolla MO 65401

There is no cost for this training. Maximum number of attendees is 25.

DNR course #2502026 - 6 hours certification credits each for water treatment, distribution, & wastewater.
